In our hyper-connected world, local is the new global. As Edible magazine publishers, we spend all of our time getting to know our local farmers, chefs, artisans, distillers and other unique businesses and celebrating them by telling their stories. The newly launched Doorstep Market is a multi-vendor Direct to Consumer e-commerce website that enables a wide audience of interested shoppers to find and buy local products that they want and need. We created Doorstep Market to make it possible for these special local businesses to reach beyond the confines of their own communities--in some cases, beyond the end of their own country roads, and to make the best of Hudson Valley local available to everyone.

Edible Hudson Valley tells the story behind every delicious bite. Edible has a robust following and a single mission: to connect their followers to the best resources they can find in their own neighborhoods. We focus on the artisans, farmers, bakers, home cooks, fishers, chefs, vintners and others who energize our culinary community. More investigative journalism than food chat, more historical profile than restaurant gossip, we give voice to our region’s food inspirations and trends, and take a close look at its culinary controversies and challenges, too.
